Part A: explore the arts as a participant
Attending Rock School – How to work as a team, with my group, to create an original song ‘Fred’.
How I developed my participation:
I became part of a band, developed my drumming skills, recorded them, worked on a music video and played drums on stage.
“My role is the drumming and we worked together pretty well on the song – there’s only about one rude word!” 00:40 (‘Inspiration for Fred’ Audio Clip).
What I’ve learnt:
“I’ve learnt to play a bit better on drums and become more confident.” 01:35 (Reflection Video)
The inspiration for Fred:
Part B: explore the arts as an audience member
“It’s good that they’ve practiced and gel together in the group… the standard of drumming is really good” 01:51
Part C: arts heroes and heroines
We had a group discussion with Annabel about who are heroes are and how they might influence our work. I decided to think about the music my parents listen to express why I like Avenged Sevenfold so much.

Skill Share – Drums
